How we estimate

No packages, no mark-ups, nothing hidden

Everything is hours × the rate

Discovery, design, development, content and project management are all £200 an hour. No day-rate tiers and no junior mark-up.

A range, not a guess

The range runs from 10% under to 20% over our central estimate, because projects overrun more often than they underrun.

Always included

A responsive build, accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, SEO foundations, testing and launch, a contact form, editor training and 30 days of fixes.

Not included

Hosting, domains, premium plugin licences, stock photography, translation and advertising spend. We tell you what you need and what it costs.

Fixed before we start

After a short call we write the scope page by page and fix the price. If we underestimated, that is our problem, not yours.

Next step

Turn your estimate into a fixed quote

Send us your answers with a line about the project. Within one working day you get either a few questions or a fixed quote, usually inside your range.

  1. We read your answers and look at your current site, if you have one.
  2. A 15-minute call if anything is unclear. No pitch deck.
  3. A fixed quote with the scope written page by page and feature by feature.

Questions

Pricing, plainly answered

Why charge by the hour instead of selling packages?

Packages hide their assumptions. Hours show them, so you can see what adds cost and decide what is worth it. You still get a fixed quote before any work starts.

Is this estimate a quote?

No. It is an honest range based on the hours similar projects take us. After a short call we send a fixed quote, usually inside this range.

What if the project takes longer than quoted?

Fixed means fixed. If we underestimated, we absorb it. Only new requests change the price, and we agree those in writing first.

Can we start smaller?

Yes. Many clients start with a one-off audit (£400 focused, £1,000 full) or a single landing page, then build from there.

Do you charge for calls and emails?

Project calls and messages are part of project management, which is already in the estimate. You will never see a bill for an email.

Is VAT included?

All prices in pounds sterling. VAT is added where applicable.
